Julie Brower: Head Teacher Haslett CDL
Julie Brower

Julie Brower, Head Teacher, Haslett Campus, has worked at the Child Development Laboratories for 12 years.  For nine years, she was the teacher for the Family Infant Toddler Learning Program (FITL) and for the past three years has been a Head Teacher at the Haslett campus.

Ms. Brower holds both her undergraduate and Master’s degree in Child Development from Michigan State University.  Before coming to MSU, Ms. Brower had a variety of experiences in the field of early childhood.  She has worked as a full-day toddler teacher, overseen a drop-in child care center for children ranging in age from 3 months to 5 years, and provided care for children in her home child care center.  Ms. Brower finds working with preschool children to be extremely gratifying.  She believes that children learn best at play and that a quality preschool experience should support children as social beings, helping them learn essential social skills that will equip them to be successful in all aspects of their lives. Ms. Brower can be contacted by email at browerj@msu.edu.
