Lisa Foster, Head Teacher, Haslett Campus. . She earned her Bachelor’s in Family Community Service with a young child focus, and received her Master’s Degree in Child Development, both from Michigan State University. Though a Michigan native, Ms. Foster has spent the last three years in North Carolina; and her time included teaching preschool at a multi-generational center. She also has spent time working for Head Start and the Detroit Science Center creating early childhood programming to correlate with State of Michigan kindergarten benchmarks. She believes in the value of play with a particular emphasis on exploring the natural environment. She also believes that a strong parent connection to the preschool experience helps to create the best possible outcomes for the child and family.
