Matt Foster: FITL Teacher East Lansing CDL |
Matt Foster serves as the full-time CDL Family Infant Toddler Learning (FITL) teacher. He earned his bachelor's degree in family communiy services with a focus on youth and diversity from Michigan State University. Mr. Foster spent the last year working with Stacy Cook in the Childcare program as the associate teacher where he enjoyed getting to know the children and families of the CDL. Prior to the CDL, Matt spent three years teaching preschool focusing on developmental approproate practices for ages 2-5. Prior to teaching Mr. Foster spent time as a case manager for a nonprofit organization working with parents and their families. Mr. Foster believes that childhood is a special part of human development and should be valued as such. Mr. Foster also believes that adults play a crucial role in development of a child and there is no greater way fo assist in that role than through collaboration with adults in the children's lives.
